Psalm 25:4
Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths.
It is a very dicey situation to be stuck in some place, not knowing the way forward. In the times we live in, we need constant assistance from a GPS (Global Positioning System) to guide us to our intended destination.
Similarly, we must make the Word of our Lord the GPS (God’s Positioning System) for our lives. Psalm 119:105 reminds us, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” God faithfully shows us His ways through His Word. So, we should begin our day by opening the Word of God and switching on this “GPS”.
When we are guided by God through His Word, we are never truly lost or helpless. Regardless of the circumstances or difficulties we face, we will always find the strength to endure and walk through our challenges with a smile on our faces.
God is faithful, and He will stand firm on His promises to us. He assures us in Psalm 32:8, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.” So, trust in every word of His and don’t lean on your own understanding.
As we continue to observe the season of Lent, let’s submit our ways and plans into the hands of our loving Lord Jesus Christ. As we do, we will begin to see each day unfold with favor and protection from Him.
