Worship On Wheels

by
Bethel AG Church International Worship Centre

We as a church hosted our first ‘Worship on Wheels’ service on Sunday, June 14th, 2020. The Church restarted the Sunday worship services in a contactless, drive-in format in our 3-acre new property, Temple of God, which is adjacent to the current church building. Church-goers attend the service from the comfort and safety of their vehicles while ensuring that they adhere to the guidelines of social distancing.

There is no other seating facility other than the church-goers’ vehicles itself. Common touchpoints like seating facilities, toilets, canteens and resource centres will also not be available.

The Worship on Wheels service has multiple LED screens and speakers to cater to the gathering. The service is also streamed online for those who are unable to attend the services.

The Church at present is conducting four services on Sunday – two combined services for those attending on bikes and cars at the Temple of God ground and two at the BAGCIWC church building for those using public transport/foot/for those with no vehicles.

The service is also be streamed live on the Church website and social media handles like Facebook and Youtube on Sunday @ 8 AM and thereafter available to be viewed any time.

In many ways, this is also the fulfilment of Holy Bible John 4:23 (ESV) Lord Jesus said, “But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him”. It’s no longer about the location but the relationship with God. We are arranging to add Saturdays alongside Sundays to accommodate the growing numbers of devotees on vehicles.”
