Psalm 139:14: I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
The psalmist wants to praise God because he says that he is fearfully and wonderfully made. He says that God’s works are marvellous. When we look at the mirror everyday, we see a unique masterpiece of God before us. He created us male and female. We are created in His image.
Man did not evolve from some apes as science would say it. Man is far more superior than a chimpanzee or an ape. Animals do not think or reason. They have no idea or reasoning as to why things happen the way they are happening around them. They can neither counsel or guide someone on life’s decisions. God created man with intellect, emotions, will power. God created us to be in relationship with Him. Every aspect of the body, down to the tiniest microscopic cell, reveals that it is fearfully and wonderfully made. Human brain has the ability to think, reason, and control so many functions of the body as is the rest of the body organs with different functions. We are created to worship God because His works are marvellous.
We serve a God who has given us life and who has designed us. No two people are alike in this world, not even twins. Everyone is uniquely created. We are so special and that is why we are born. Let us live our life to the fullest in order for God to accomplish His purpose for us.
