What will you do for God?

Exodus 15:2:  The Lord is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation; he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

Moses declared that God was his strength and song as well as his God and his father’s God.  He also goes on ahead to say that God had become his salvation and that he would prepare Him a dwelling place and exalt Him.  Moses believed in the God who led him and the Israelites in their journey to the promised land.

God indeed was his strength and song.  He was the subject matter of the song of Moses and of the Israelites because they were miraculously delivered and saved from getting drowned in the Red sea and against the army of Pharoah.  God proved to them His faithfulness and kindness.  His power and glory was revealed among them.  He saved them from getting extinct from the face of the earth, thus becoming their Saviour.  He proved to them that He is their God as well as the God of their fathers.  Therefore, Moses thought that this God deserves a place to be worshipped.  God had a good enough reason to be exalted among His people.

What have you decided to do for God for all His goodness and grace that He has bestowed upon your life?  Are you willing to lift up His name in worship and exalt Him? Will you tell others how good the Lord has been to you?
