Faith as a mustard seed

Matthew 17:20:  And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Jesus wants us to have faith in moving big mountains that stand as barriers.  Most of the time we do not receive what is promised to us because of our unbelief.  Unbelief and faith are opposite words.

Mustard is a small seed and mountain is a big thing.  Likewise, we need to have faith to move away big hurdles from our life.  The seed is so small but it grows into a big tree.  In the same way, we might have small faith but that is enough to move away all kinds of obstacles from off our path of blessing.  God appreciates anything done in faith.  It is God who works when we operate in faith.  When we pray over certain things, faith gets stirred from deep within, it is a sense that something is going to happen.  It is a feeling that God will do what we ask.  It is a urge to pray for more and until it happens, we need to keep praying.   Never give up half way through.  God never leaves anything undone or half-finished.

Gear up your faith in God, stand up and realize that God is at work in your life.  When life gets too hard to stand, you have to kneel.  When life bogs you down with the pressures of this world, you need to pray hard until your heart releases faith from within.  That feeling is so very awesome.  When we pray in faith, you can command all barriers to be removed.  Let God work for you as you release your deepest faith from within.
