Matthew 13:58: And He did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
There is just one way to tap into God’s resources for your life. That one and only way is faith in Jesus, our Living God. The Bible teaches us that whoever comes to God must believe that He exists and that He diligently rewards all those who seek Him.
Jesus did not do many mighty works in his hometown because of the people’s unbelief. They had graded Jesus very poorly because they knew Him as a mere carpenter’s son. It is not that Jesus COULD NOT but it is said that Jesus DID NOT. Did He lose His authority somewhere on the lanes of Nazareth? Did the power to manifest the strength of God fade away from Jesus? The answer is NO, the people didn’t believe or trust Jesus wholeheartedly because they underestimated Him. Therefore, the gateway for a miracle in your life is faith and trust in Him.
We have to cooperate with God for an answer in our lives. We have to believe that He will work on our behalf. It is our faith in His power that releases blessings and opens shut doors for us. The Bible also says to trust in God with all our heart and not to lean on our own understanding or thinking. We need to think beyond our understanding because God and His ways cannot be comprehended in our mind. He is way beyond what we think about Him. Such a big and an all knowing God just wants our little hearts to trust and believe Him for a victory over ourselves.
