Isaiah 43:18-19 – “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

It’s 2017! People around the world are busy setting goals and resolutions. There’s something about the New Year that makes us want to press the reset button on our lives. We want to leave the past behind and press forward into the new beginning that we’ve been given.

Change is good, and we want to change and become better people. But we must also remember that true transformation starts from the inside. Go ahead and set those goals for yourself, your family and your career. But your greatest goal this year should be to grow closer to God than ever before.

When you seek God first, He will take care of everything else in your life. Fortify your faith in God’s presence and He will strengthen you. Even if you are in the middle of a wilderness period in your life, God will make a clear path for you to walk through. You will see an abundance of God’s grace and favor in your life this year.

Have a Blessed New Year!
